Borough council elections are being held on Thursday 2 May, 2019.

You can see the results of the election as they become available from Friday 3 May.

Registering to vote

Voting in an emergency

In certain circumstances, where you have an emergency that means you cannot go to the polling station in person, you can apply for an emergency proxy if your circumstances have changed after 5pm on Wednesday 24 April because:

  • you had a medical emergency
  • you’ll be away because of work

Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll need to email it to our Electoral Services team at electors@swale.gov.uk.

Completed applications for emergency proxy voting must be received by 5pm on Thursday 2 May 2019.
