Faversham Pools play area opens

Do it online

Tuesday 12 February

Ahoy there!

Swale Borough Council is pleased to announce the opening of the Faversham Pools play area, one week ahead of schedule.

Improvements include a pirate ship with slide, musical play panel and hammock; swings; roundabout; an octopus seesaw and a dolphin springer. Pictures attached.

The play area cost £50,000, paid for with the assistance of the Rotary Club of Faversham.

We hope the new facilities will provide enjoyment to children for years to come.

Cllr David Simmons, cabinet member for environment and rural affairs at the council, says: “We believe the new equipment at the Faversham Pools play area will serve as a great place for families to stop by, before or after going for a swim, or provide hours of entertainment in their own right. With 8 play items and over 50 play features, youngsters will find the fun starts at the Faversham Pools play area!”
