George Hawkins

The Faversham Hop Festival committee have enjoyed a long relationship with local artist, George Hawkins, who has kindly created unique paintings to grace the cover of the programme for the past five years.

George Hawkins was born in Farnham, Surrey, in 1945.  Settling in Faversham his passion for drawing and painting led him to paint full time in 1983.

His paintings of landscape and marine scenes are in great demand with commissions, Limited Editions, and a continuing range of greeting cards.

Many of his paintings are in private collections both in this country and abroad.
