I grew up in western Sittingbourne and since 2006 I have had the honour of representing the Grove ward area as a local councillor.

I want to ensure that Swale Borough Council is run effectively for local people. This involves making the right decisions, using money effectively, and restoring public trust in councils by publishing records of council decisions and spending.

Taxes need to be kept down. There is too much tax in our country already. While Swale Borough Council's slice is a small part of the total pie, I want to ensure that people get value for money for their essential services, while considering whether savings can or should be made elsewhere.

Jobs are important and I'm keen to support local businesses. Jobs within walking distance of residential areas will help Sittingbourne prosper without creating too much traffic in the process.
