Ceramic Workshops with artist Jose Den Hartog

‘Participants are invited to come and tell their own Seaside Stories using old photographs and text on ceramics to create their own personalised artwork.’

To celebrate the complex and rich history of Sheppey Art at the Centre has commissioned an Jose Den Hartog to design a new commemorative ceramic artwork for the Island. The resident artist ran a series of free public workshops. Participants will learn various skills with the help of Jose, including casting objects to make ceramic forms, firing clay artworks, and glazing and decorating ceramic objects.
